One Man Chicago is a fun, social, and professional event that identifies the one man in the Chicago area who represents the best of Chicago from the perspectives of community involvement, personality, intelligence, and fitness. One Man Chicago not only puts the spotlight on 20 guys doing great work in the community, but highlights 20 great community organizations.

Twenty finalists will be chosen from hundreds of applicants and nominees. At which point, you can vote on this site once a day for the man and charity you feel best represents Chicago. The results of the online voting will account for 25% of the finalists total score.

A series of "Meet the Men" Happy Hours will take place throughout Chicago leading up to the final event. In addition to great live entertainment, five finalists will be announced at the final show, and they will participate in a live competition involving fashion, pop culture trivia, informal interviews, and fun! A panel of local COMMUNITY LEADERS will select One Man Chicago at the event. One Man Chicago will split $5,000 cash with his charity.

BECAUSE WOMEN VOLUNTEER AT A RATE FIVE TIMES THAT OF MEN, THE MISSION OF THE ONE MAN PROJECT IS TO ENCOURAGE MORE MEN TO VOLUNTEER WITH CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND ENGAGE IN COMMUNITY PROJECTS THAT MAKE OUR COMMUNITIES A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE AND WORK.  ONE MAN CHICAGO WILL PUT THE SPOTLIGHT ON GUYS WHO CAN PROVIDE THE INSPIRATION FOR OTHERS TO GET INVOLVED.  WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET INVOLVED BY SUPPORTING YOUR FAVORITE GUYS AND CHARITIES.
